REPs Registration Application

For first time applicants, and expired registrations (over 12 months)

If your REPs Registration expired less than 12 months ago then please log into the REPs website to re-register.

For anyone whose primary workplace is Les Mills , CityFitness or Snap Fitness there is a workplace specific application form. An access code is required to use any of the club specific forms. Please contact your manager to get the access code.

What do you need before you apply for REPs Registration?

1. Qualification(s) - A digital copy of your entry qualification(s)

If you have completed a recognised qualification in NZ - you need to have scanned copies of the certificate for each level of registration being applied for. If you are part way through a NZ based recognised course - you will be required to upload a transcript showing the course name and the modules/units passed and an expected completion date (this must be on letter head from your provider). If you are using International Portability from an ICREPs register - you will need a copy of your registration certificate or letter of portability. In all other cases have any relevant documents you have to support your application.

2. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - Check if you need CPD Points
Most first time applications do not need any CPD points, except:
- 10 CPD points - If your entry qualification was issued over 24 months (2 years) ago and/or if your registration expired between 12 and 24 months ago.
- 20 CPD points - If your entry qualification was issued over 36 months (3 years) ago and/or if your registration expired over 36 months ago.
Those that require CPD points will need to produce evidence of professional development completed. E.g completion certificate, booking/payment confirmation.

3. First Aid/CPR - A copy of your First Aid or CPR Certificate
This can be in the form of a scanned copy or a clear photo of your CPR or First Aid certificate. You can find the REPs First Aid Policy here.
- If you are operating only from a REPs Registered Facility, a CPR certificate is sufficient.
- In all other cases a Comprehensive Workplace First Aid is required.
Please note that the MINIMUM requirements for REPs registration may not be in line with the expectations of the employer / business you contract to. You should follow the requirements of that business and, be aware that REPs requirements do not override the clubs H&S policies.
4. Name Change? - Documentation if you have changed your name
If the name listed on your qualification does not match the name you are currently using please supply one of the following legal documents:
- Marriage Certificate (to change name in case of marriage, or to revert to maiden name if separated)
- Deed poll document
- Birth certificate
All registrations must be issued in legal names so you can only register in a full legal name.
5. Payment
Payment options are:
- Monthly Direct Debit
- Credit Card - Visa and Mastercard
- NZ Bank Account Transfer - POLi
- Workplace paying for your registration - Please ensure you have your "special code" ready before applying.
When applying for multiple levels of registration – payment is only required for the highest level.

Before you get started these are the steps you will undertake to complete this online registration application.

Step 1 - Complete the online application
- Your details
- Any workplace(s)
- Registration level(s) - Select which levels of registration you are applying for.
  - Exercise Prescription (Personal Trainer, Exercise Consultant) category
  - Group Exercise category
  - Yoga Teacher category
  - Pilates Teacher category
  You can select one/none from each of the former categories. If applying for more than one level then you will only be charged for your highest level.
- Qualification(s) - For each level selected upload qualifications or select your pathway to register.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - Upload CPD if required.
- First Aid/CPR Certificate - Upload your First Aid/CPR certificate.
- Insurance Declaration -Complete if insurance is included.
- Terms and Conditions - Read and agree.
- Payment
Step 2 - Select payment option

At the end of the form you will be asked how you want to pay. We offer pay online by credit card or Poli. Alternatively you may uploading a completed direct debit form or use a special code provided by your workplace.

What happens next?

You will receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted, processing is 7-10 working days normally and can be reduced to 5 working days if the optional urgent processing fee has been paid.
